From the ACS National Meeting Technical Program: "In this presentation, Professor Prather will discuss her background and the path she took to becoming a chemistry professor. She will also provide an up to date perspective of our understanding of our changing climate and the many advanced educational opportunities that exist for students interested in helping the environment. Finally, she will discuss some of her latest research efforts which include creating an ocean-atmosphere within the lab complete with breaking waves to perform unconventional complex chemistry experiments. She will end leading enough time for students to ask questions about careers in chemistry."
