Over the past month, the Prather Group has welcomed four new members. Dr. Jessica Axson took a postdoc position with us after completing her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Colorado, Boulder with Prof. Veronica Vaida, and will add to the efforts within the Center for Aerosol Impacts on Climate and the Environment. Dr. Andrew Martin joins the group as a postdoc under a PACE Fellowship, after finishing his PhD in Meteorology at Florida State University. Andrew will work on developing atmospheric models that include observations made during the CalWater campaign. Two new graduate students join us this summer: Heidi Leonard, a recent graduate of Pomona College, and Katherine Nadler, a recent graduate of Maryville College. Both will officially start the Chemistry PhD program in September. A warm welcome to all!
